We arrived at the hospital last Monday for a routine sonogram, and quickly found out that the amniotic fluids surrounding the baby were dangerously low. After some attempts to induce labor, the midwife decided that a C-section was the only possibility for a healthy baby. She was right, as we found out afterwards, though at the time it was quite a blow to our hopes for a natural labor. Thankfully, both mother and baby (and father) are all happy and healthy and enjoying their new life together at home. Please continue to keep Lydia in your prayers for a quick recovery from a pretty major operation.
