Prayer
Friends,
My parents' house was struck by lightning today, and is almost completely gone. Part of one room may be left. They were in Colorado for their anniversary, so no one was hurt. They're getting to Atlanta tomorrow, and I may be heading up there as well to see if I can be of any assistance. Right now it'll probably mostly just be fights with insurance companies. Prayers would be appreciated.

Wow - it must have burned pretty quickly; or did no one in the neighborhood notice? Thank God your parents were somewhere else. What will they do with the house?

with family friends for a few weeks, at least.
I guess it did burn quickly, but I heard that it burned for an hour before anyone came. I don't think they know what they're doing for the long-term yet. Thanks for the prayers, etc.
