Back to school

So, I went to class today. Classes started yesterday, but I've only got Tuesday/Thursday classes. It makes for a long day, but at least I've got 4 day weekends. I'm teaching a new class and enjoyed it very much today. They're mostly freshmen. And they talked me into a fairly long tangential comment on medieval English literature today, even though they were about to leave. The semester looks to be a relatively light one, which I'll enjoy. The plan to get the jewelweed going has failed, but I've got plenty of time to work on it. I think I'll go after the catfish this Sunday. Also, we saw Everett this morning at school. He looked kind of different. Kind of short, with a shaved head, and an oversized baseball cap on. Also, a large gold chain on, and an unlit cigarette hanging out of his mouth. But the jersey he was wearing said Everett on the back. I don't know why he was in Tallahassee. Also, if anyone talks to Steven, tell him to accept the frigging invitation and start posting, I don't care how busy he is.

Yeah, Everett told me that these days he really feels a connection with hip-hop culture, especially the hip-hop culture of the Florida Panhandle. Go figure. At least it's less embarrassing than that emo phase he went through. Don't get me started.
