Where I'll Be Living
Hey everyone...
This is my new address in Chicago, where I'll be living after September 20.
5110 S. Kenwood Ave #907
Chicago, IL 60615
If you want, you can check out the apartment house here: http://reo.uchicago.edu/maps/5110kenwood.shtml
I'll also have a new phone number, but that will have to wait for another day.
Hope everyone's well.
Jonathan

Speaking of moving, I'd like all of you to know that JoJo and I furnished our entire house for a total of about twenty dollars (Jo's desk). The happy reprucussions of that came when we stood back admiring our living room one afternoon and suddenly realized that our only possessions dating after the 1970's were handmade by our respective brothers. This would be much funnier if you too could sit on the slippery ivory-upholstered couch, rest your feet on the shag carpet, and gaze at the green-glass-screened television bookended by our record player with Luke Duncan's reciever, and our records propped up on Caitlin Hanley's old roller skates. These all rest, of course, on the long shelf under the window built by Jeremy (no nails) and passed on via Jonathon, although some of the records are soon to be shifted to a shelf built by Taylor and donated to us by Stephen. Anyway, it looks great, so thanks. For the furniture, and the cool.
I may note that Jeremy did not, in fact, build Ashley and Jojo's window.
leave me alone. Grammar bully.

Ashley: You should see if you and Jojo can get that bright red coffee table thing from the Garners or whoever currently has it. Jesse might know where it is.
Actually,
That's my reciever, not Luke's. True, there is a note from Luke taped to the front of it, but you can thank your brother from that. Why would Luke tape a note from himself to the front of his own reciever anyways?
I thought perhaps it was on the sort of long-term loan that sometimes occurs with that sort of equipment. How am I supposed to know who it belongs to? The note reads, if I remember correctly (and I think I do) "Hey world travelers- apply your jaded, over-cultured sensibilities to these apples! Word! -Luke" Obviously, "world travelers" could refer to a number of people, probably including Luke himself.
Luke has been known to write himself (or himselves) notes from time to time, particularly after travelling in an international context. It helps him to remind himself that he's an American, dad-gum-it, and that Americans know how to appreciate the simple things of life.
